Due to changing needs and requirements in the transformation towards E-Mobility, it was necessary to rethink and reengineer the way of automation for powertrain production. Simultaneously the world´s demand for sustainable solutions and reduction of the global CO2 footprint led to a reconsideration of how to produce our products. Waste of human and material resources must be minimized. Under these conditions VANILLA Automation was born.

VANILLA Automation is a developer and manufacturer of standard machines for the automated system assembly of Electrical Drive Units (EDUs of BEV/FCEV) with customized tooling. The design and concept is based on modules, optimized to the needs of EDU assembly and maximized in terms of high economic efficiency, sustainability and scalability aspects.

VANILLA Automation is going to publish the new VANILLA Standard (transport interface and communication between modules) and is a licensor of production solutions for authorized partners.
